A hammer wielding man smashed two car windscreens and then made threats after he was detained in the neighbourhood.Suleman Abbas (29), of Linney Road, Beaumont Leys, pleaded guilty to causing £600 worth of damage to two vehicles and possessing an offensive weapon, a hammer, on August 16.Lynsey Knott, prosecuting, said it was unclear why the defendant had targeted the cars which were parked outside a house in Northfield Road, Leicester.
