A 20-year-old man today admitted sending sexually explicit text messages to tragic Leicestershire schoolgirl Kayleigh Haywood, a few days before she was raped and murdered by someone else.
Bruce Cordwell, 20, was aware Kayleigh was 15-years-old when he groomed her on Facebook and WhatsApp.
He tried to arrange a meeting with her for a sexual encounter, between November 10 and 13, 2015.
Kayleigh was murdered at the hands of another, Stephen Beadman, on November 15.
