A thief who drove his van into a police officer while fleeing the scene of a crime has been jailed for four years.Mark Courtney Johnson, 34, revved the engine of his van and knocked down the officer as he left a building site in Loughborough with stolen goods last summer.Police were called to the site, in Allendale Road, on Sunday, August 14 after Johnson was seen behaving suspiciously.He drove out of the site in a Transit flatbed van, ramming the fencing as he left and collided with a parked...
