A 28-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to murdering a man in March.Paul Albert Smith, of Bradgate Street, Woodgate, Leicester, is charged with murdering 45-year-old Ivan Barrs on March 28.Smith was charged earlier this year following an incident in Leicester 12 years ago. In the incident in Northampton Street on May 13, 2003, Mr Barrs suffered serious injuries. He died in hospital on March 28 this year.Smith was remanded in custody for his trial which will take place in the autumn.
