A motorist has appeared in court to admit causing the death of a 79-year-old pedestrian, by careless driving, when impaired through drugs.Godfread Housen, 41, a mechanic, consumed cannabis prior to the incident, Leicester Crown Court was told.Pensioner, Brian Sheldon, of Bishop Street, Melton, died after being in a collision with Housen's car on Saxby Road, in the town, on November 15, 2013.Mr Sheldon later died in hospital.The Leicester Crown Court case was adjourned for the prosecution to...
